Goodwill & good fortune

In preparation for the move, I took some slightly worn clothes and a rug to the Goodwill. It's the circle of life for my possessions. I acquire them at a thrift store and take them back there when I prepare to move across the country.

I had dinner with a couple last night. The woman told a story about the tobacco farming town she grew up in. Each year a beauty queen was elected - Queen Nicotina.

On a four week residence in Portland, OR:
"My bike was stolen and I applied for a job at a cookie factory. It was time to go."
